Tracy L. Nichols, 51, of Trappe passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore. She was born in Easton on October 14, 1971 and was a daughter of Susan Willey and the late Mark McWilliams.
Tracy graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1989 and later received her Early Childhood Education Certificate from Chesapeake College. Tracy had work for Jack and Jill Daycare and later open her own daycare called Kids Kastle Learning Center and at the time of her passing she was working at C. Albert Matthews. She enjoyed spending time with her two sons and her nieces. Tracy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #91 and the Choptank Memorial Post Auxiliary 7460 VFW.
She is survived by two sons Philip Lake Nichols and Carter Nichols, her mother Susan Willey and companion Jim Burton, a sister Amy Schuyler and husband Chuck, stepmother Tina McWilliams, two brothers Mike McWilliams and companion Rebecca Lowe and Guy McWilliams and wife Stephanie, a step sister Sara Randazzo, six nieces Madison, Marci, Mia, Grace, Faith and Malae, and several aunts and uncles. Besides her father, Tracy is preceded in death by a sister Dawn McWilliams.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Ms. Karla Wilkins officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice.
