Virginia May Moyers, 87, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Carrollton, Ohio on May 14, 1934 and was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Marjorie Moore Stull.
Mrs. Moyers attended schools in Scio, Ohio. In 1949, she married William M. Moyers who passed away on September 27, 1978. Mrs. Moyers worked as a nurse’s aide and did some private sitting in Cambridge since 1988. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, talking to family and friends or anyone walking by her home.
She is survived by two daughters Deborah Carpenter and husband James of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Bonnie Abbott and husband Ted of Church Creek, two sons Ronald Howell of Steubenville, Ohio and William Moyers and wife Denise of Cambridge, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great granchildren, a sister Rosemary Hall of New Hampshire, two brothers Wayne Stull and wife Judy of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Roger Stull and wife Joyce of Scio, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her pet Princess. Besides her parents, Mrs. Moyers is preceded in death by a daughter Beverly Hazelett, a sister and six brothers Chuck Stull, Merle Stull and four brothers passed away at birth.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11 am at Grandview Cemetery in Scio, Ohio. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
