Vivian R. Coghlan

Vivian R. Coghlan, 81, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Pine Grove, West Virginia on March 19, 1943 and was a daughter of the late Glen “Mick” Judge and Evelyn Hostutler Judge.

Mrs. Coghlan graduated from Valley High School in Pine Grove, W. VA, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, and also attended Montgomery Community College. She had several jobs, Vivi's Crafts for 9 years, Quality Inn where she was in accounting and later other various jobs. Mrs. Coghlan enjoyed cross stitch, antiques, baking, and word searches. She a member of Dorchester General Hospital Auxiliary where she did over 6000 hours of volunteering and sung in the Billy Graham Choir. 

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Thomas F. Coghlan, Jr., two grandchildren Crystal Coghlan and Thomas Michael Coghlan, Jr., five great grandchildren Anthony, April, Keith, May and Nathaniel, a brother Joe Judge and wife Nancy, five nieces and nephews and loving great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her pet Annie. Besides her parents, Mrs. Coghlan is preceded in death by a daughter Evelyn Jeanmarie Coghlan, a son Thomas Michael Coghlan, Sr. and a brother Glen Judge.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11am at Faith Baptist Fellowship in Cambridge with Rev. Randall T. Blackmon officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
