Wallace J. Pritchett, Sr.

Wallace J. Pritchett, Sr., 82, of Toddville passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 1, 1935 in Crocheron and was a son of the late James M. and Rhodella Bramble Pritchett.
Mr. Pritchett attended schools in Dorchester County. On August 17, 1957, he married the former Jeanette Jones. He worked on the water his entire life and enjoyed duck hunting and going to the auctions.
He is survived by a son Jamie Pritchett of Toddville, two sister in laws Regina Moore of Toddville and Ella Maggard of Wise, VA, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Pritchett is preceded in death by an infant daughter Sadie Pritchett, and a sister Betty LeCompte.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Pritchett, Brian Pritchett, Millard Littlepage, Johnny Holotik, Scott Shores and Jody LeCompte.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 12 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Michael LaClair officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Lakes-Straits Volunteer Fire Company, 2103 Farm Creek Road, Wingate, MD 21675.
