OBITUARY FORM
Wanda M. Foxwell, 85, of Salisbury formerly of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Toddville on March 23, 1924 and was a daughter of the late Herbert A. Moore, Sr. and Hazel Dykes Moore.
Mrs. Foxwell attended schools in Cambridge. On November 23, 1947 she married Wallace H. "Dude" Foxwell. He passed away on July 2, 2003. She worked at Rob Roy and Western Publishing Company. Later in life she was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son Gary L. Foxwell and wife Lois of Salisbury, two grandsons Christopher B. Foxwell of Baltimore and Michael A. Foxwell of Salisbury, a brother Herbert Moore, Jr. and wife Frances of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Foxwell is preceded in death by two sisters Kathleen Lowe and Annabelle Hurley.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hogan, Ricky Moore, Christopher Foxwell, Michael Foxwell and Larry Elzey.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
