Warren Carlton Rue

Warren C. Rue, 68, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. He was born in Cambridge on June 17, 1948 and was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Rue, Sr. and Doris Jean Sheets Rue.
Warren graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1967. He served in the U.S. Army for three years and was stationed in Vietnam and Germany. Warren was a farmer and he enjoyed collecting antiques.
He is survived by his brother Woodrow Wilson Rue II and wife Wendy of Cambridge and a nephew Woodrow Wilson Rue III and wife Brittany of Stevensville, two aunts Susie Jefferson and husband Eddie and Sara Sheets and several cousins. Besides his parents, Warren is preceded in death by an aunt Dulcie Linthicum Thamert, two uncles Harold Sheets and Raymond Sheets
Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, followed by a graveside service on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 1 pm at Old Trinity Churchyard with Rev. Randall T. Blackmon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
