Wayne L. Pritchard 49, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Dorchester General Hospital. He was born in Cambridge on February 8, 1959 and was a son of Harry and Rosalee Hubbard Pritchard.
He attended schools in Cambridge. Mr. Pritchard operated Wayne Pritchard Building Contracting. He enjoyed fishing and target shooting. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 91, Federalsburg VFW Men's Auxiliary, the Traveler's Club and the Cambridge Moose Lodge.
He is survived by two daughters Sara Pritchard and fiancAC.e PJ of Manchester, PA, and Angela Stevens and her husband Brian of Easton, his parents Harry and Rosalee Pritchard of Hebron, a brother Larry Pritchard and his wife Elaine of Cambridge, two grandchildren Logan Criss and Emma Criss, longtime companion Susan Willey of Cambridge, three nephews Andrew Pritchard of Illinois, Charles Pritchard and wife Leslie of Illinois and Lucas Pritchard and his wife Stephanie of Easton. He is preceded in death by a brother Charles Daniel Pritchard.
Pallbearers will be Rick Der, Carl Anderson, Lawrence Walter, Wayne Burton, Lucas Pritchard and Robert Tieder.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge with Rev. Samuel H. McWilliams officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
