Wende R. Kirckhoff

Wende R. Kirckhoff, 66, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024 with her daughter by her side. Wende was born to the late Earl Kirckhoff Sr. and Martha Kirckhoff and is survived by her daughter, Kara Jones (Lucas), and three grandchildren, Liam Jones, Elise Jones, and Owen Jones. Along with two brothers, Earl Kirckhoff Jr. and Forrest Kirckhoff (Janice), many cousins and loved ones she held dear memories of as well as her good friend, Christie Mills. 

Wende graduated from Perry Hall High School in Baltimore Co. and moved to the Eastern Shore where she worked at Airpax however, she had a passion for art and was very creative. She kept busy thorough the years, having helped her mother run a ceramic shop in the 1980's, she made a variety of hand painted items, she sewed and designed her own home decor, dabbled in woodworking, enjoyed baking and chocolate making, threw pottery and following in her mother's footsteps, had a love for her flower garden. 

Above all these things, her heart truly laid with her grandchildren whom she took care of as babies, watched them grow and cheered them on at all of their sports games. She never missed a game and there were many!

While we will miss her and her encouragement we know she is in a better place most likely tending God's flower gardens with Martha! 

We will be holding a private service at a later date however, her family extends their gratitude to each kind word and prayer that has been spoken for us and Wende!
