Wendy Ellen (Jones) Dail

Wendy E. Dail, 57, of Queenstown passed away on Thursday evening September 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cambridge, Maryland on March 26, 1958 and was a daughter of the late Lois Hurley Robbins and Eldred R. Jones.

She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1976. Wendy later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland School of Nursing in 1981. On October 2, 1983 she married Charles “Chuck” Dail. Wendy had been employed by Anne Arundel Hospital for fifteen years followed by Oncology Hematology and Associates for the last seventeen years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the beach or pool side at their house. She especially enjoyed sunsets with loved ones at Fager’s Island in O.C. Maryland.

She is survived by her husband Chuck Dail. Her children Charles “C.J.” Dail Jr., Amanda Hutton and her husband David Hutton, Jaclyn Dail, and Matt Adkins. Stepmother Janet Jones and Stepfather Theodore “Butch” Robbins. Siblings Eldred “Ronnie” Jones Jr., Janel Jones, and Jake Robbins, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Wendy is preceded in death by a sister Cindy Jones.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge Maryland. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 with Pastor Jack Diehl officiating, beginning at 1:00 pm.
