William F. “Frank” Brooks, Jr., 66, of East New Market passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. He was born in Dover, DE on December 21, 1954 and was a son of Alberta Lewis Brooks and the late William Franklin Brooks, Sr.
Frank graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1973. On July 23, 1977, he married the former Debbie Todd. Frank managed Best Buy Supply until he retired in December of 2019. He enjoyed shooting pool, rabbit dogs, hunting, and shooting skeet. Frank was a member of the Cambridge Moose and Countryside Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Brooks of East New Market, a son William F. "Frankie" Brooks III and companion Mary McDannell of Gettysburg, PA and grandson William F. Brooks IV, a daughter Jennifer Brooks Beath and husband Ernie of Cambridge and their first child Baby Beath that is expected in May, his mother Alberta Brooks of Cambridge, two sisters Connie Ruark and husband Glenn of Cambridge, and Debby Spicer and husband Tommy of Golden Hill, a brother Stephen Brooks and wife Dianna of Cambridge, a special Uncle Jimmy Brooks of Hurlock and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Brooks, Glenn Ruark, Tommy Spicer, Danny Bell, Ryan Shockley, Jerry Osborn, and Bobby Wheatley.
A walk through visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 6 to 8 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Countryside Christian Church, c/o Connie Ruark, 5333 Austin Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Face mask and social distancing is required.
