Everett Wilson Meredith, Jr.

Everett W. Meredith, Jr., 78, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at UMSMC at Dorchester. He was born in Toddville on February 8, 1938 and was the son of the late Everett W. Meredith, Sr. and Hilda Todd Meredith.

Mr. Meredith attended school in Toddville. He worked at Meredith & Meredith Seafood Company. Mr. Meredith also helped at Foxwell's Auction. He attended Cambridge Wesleyan Church until his health declined.

He is survived by his sister Nanalee Robinson of Cambridge, three nieces Cindy Higgins and husband Ward of Hurlock, Carol Wolf of Cambridge and Patricia Zepp and husband Ray of Cambridge, a great niece Katie Foxwell and a great nephew Hunter Foxwell.

Pallbearers will be Ward Higgins, Carl Hughes, Danny Cox, Gary Fields, Wayne Fields and Hunter Foxwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Insley, Sam Malone, Wade Willey, Jimmy Adams and Phillip Willey.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 2 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Jack Diehl and Rev. Barry Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
